More About My Background
I majored in Psychology and minored in Fine Arts at Bucknell University. After working a few years in early childhood education, I followed my passion to earn my MFA in Graphic Design from Boston University.
I began my career in digital layout design at Rue La La where I garnered an appreciation for product photography, set design, and photo editing to tell stories. This physical approach to design felt creative and experimental to me which I love. But I started to crave strategic design projects and decided I wanted to work in packaging design—designing an object that could bring delight and positively impact someone’s life.
For the past 8+ years, I have worked at Johnson & Johnson Design—starting as Senior Designer, then Design Lead, and most recently promoted to Design Manager. Currently, I manage the Consumer Essential Health portfolio including LISTERINE®, BAND-AID®, Johnson’s Baby®, Aveeno® Baby, and Aveeno® Kids.
The reason I continue to stay is the deeper brand work and continued learning about our consumers and behaviors in the space of e-commerce, digital shopping experiences, communication strategies, social media channel strategies, and the future of brand ecosystems.
